Dear Hope East Church,

Below please find our annual giving report for 2025. Thank you to all our members for your financial contributions and allowing us to sustain ourselves as a ministry and community of faith. We are excited for what the Lord is doing in 2026!

OUR YEAR OF GIVING

We are truly grateful for everyone who gave this past year. Your generosity has positioned us well and created a strong foundation as we move forward together!

In 2025, our total annual giving reached $670,488.41. This includes our Extending Hope Giving Campaign, through which we raised $129,183.00—with $10,000.00 supporting our missionaries, Jane and Kevin Moore, and $119,183.00 helping prepare for our move to the Viscardi Center in 2026. In comparison, our total annual giving in 2024 was $585,447.61, reflecting a 14.53% increase in 2025.

Our total regular expenses for 2025 were $575,104.71. Of that:

  • $327,757.56 went toward personnel (three full-time and five part-time staff),

  • $77,169.68 supported local and global missions,

  • $89,323.00 covered facility expenses (including Sunday rentals and the first month’s rent and deposit for the Viscardi Center),

  • $63,070.19 funded ministry expenses (all pastoral ministry expenses, classes, ministry teams, home groups, retreat, outreach, church events),

  • $9,223.49 went to administrative costs (including insurance and accounting),

  • $4,810.44 supported Sunday service needs (meals and hospitality),

  • $2,975.55 covered special services (Christmas Eve, Good Friday, Easter),

  • and $774.80 was used for equipment purchases.

It has been a tremendous joy serving alongside our staff and church council. I love this church deeply, and I believe part of God’s calling for us as Christians is to build and invest in a community we can truly love. Not because it is perfect—it isn’t. Not because it is without challenges—it certainly has them. But because God has first loved us.

My prayer is that 2026 will be another year filled with His presence, His provision, and His love among us.

In Christ,
David Jung

“We love because He first loved us.” – 1 John 4:19
